1987 Rolls Royce Silver Spur
Rolls-Royce produced the Silver Spur from 1980 to 1989 as a long-wheel base variant of the Silver Spirit. It was lower and wider than the outgoing Silver Shadow, but shared the same floor pans and 6.25 liter V8. New features included Girling automatic ride-height control and Bosch injection from 1986 onwards.
In 1987 this Rolls-Royce MRSP was $117,000! It was the first car to feature the retractable mascot and hood ornament classic to the Rolls-Royce's, the Spirit of Ecstasy. The spring-loaded Mascot sank into the radiator shell if dislodged from its position.
This beautiful, privately owned example is all original with 30,000 miles on the odometer and all the original service records.
