1969 Honda Mini Trail 50
Upon its release, this bike was considered to be a significant leap in technology in comparison to other minibikes on the market at the time. This was partly because of its efficient 49 cc (3.0 cu in) four-stroke overhead cam engine with semiautomatic transmission.
A semi-unforeseen benefit of the Mini-Trail was an opportunity for families to go on roadtrips together. It wasn’t uncommon to see a family tearing it up on their own personal bikes, especially after the YMCA instituted a program to teach kids to ride Mini-Trails safely and responsibly.
